Mambo Karbonium Evo
The Mambo Karbonium Evo AL300K from Zanon of Italy has proven to be a most extraordinary olive picker.
Its amazing beating action simply strips the olives off the trees at a phenomenal rate and we have consistently found it easy to achieve 100 – 120kg per hour on laden trees of Frantoio, J5, Verdale, Ascolano & Leccino. It is so easy to use, is relatively light at 2.4kg, it is superbly balanced and the extendable pole (2.1 – 3.4 metres) just slides in and out so smoothly with the machine still running. It is able to run all day, every day, on a charged 12 volt car battery (just re-charge the battery overnight, a deep cycle battery is best) which is converted to 33V by the transformer.
The vibrating movement of the carbon fibre rods goes from 25 – 50cm in width which explains the efficiency. The carbon fibre rods are easily replaced in minutes IF you break one.
This machine will more than pay its way on bigger groves and offers great value for money.

ATRAX 4 Electric Olive Harvester from Greece
The ATRAX 4 is the new lightweight electric harvester from Spacesonic in Greece, and has quickly become the favourite around the country. It is efficient and fast, and makes easy work of harvesting the olives, and is suitable for groves from 50 – 2,000 trees. The standard 2m shaft makes up the full length of 3.4m, and with the additional 1m or 1.5m extension poles, it’s able to reach even the olives at the tops of those tall trees.
The powerful, brushless motor is geared, so it requires less maintenance with no brushes to replace, and provides up to 750W max. It runs off a standard car battery (a deep cycle 80 Ah battery is better), or a lightweight Li-ion battery in a backpack can be purchased as an option.
A very impressive feature of the ATRAX 4 is the adjustable speed of the rakes. Through 7 levels, the rakes will vibrate at 650 – 1,350 cycles/min. The efficient use of power is excellent and the olives are dislodged with the right amount of power, not too little and not too much.
Special aerospace metal alloys are used, which makes it so light and strong. At only 2.3kg and a reduced working noise due to the redesign of all moving parts, it makes for easy and pleasant harvesting. With a harvesting capacity of 140 – 195kg/hr it is productive and effective. The 8 specially designed, interchangeable carbon fibre prongs can reach deep into the tree, without damaging the branches or fruit. and the 15m cable with robust crocodile clips finishes off a quality product.

Zanon Falcon 12 volt Picker
This is the new extendable lightweight picker from Zanon in Italy. It is a simpler version than the extraordinary best-selling Mambo Karbonium Evo. It is another example of innovative design and excellence in manufacturing from Italy.
The Falcon is very easy to operate and has been developed for smaller groves, older and or lighter people and the hobby grower. It works best where a marked increase in picking per day is important but where a tight time frame for picking is not so critical.
It has a powerful 500w motor with the same 8 carbon fibre rods as the Mambo Karbonium Evo. It is extremely efficient, easy to extend the pole whilst still running and strips the olives off with ease. The “bat like” motion of the rods is the secret to these fantastic pickers.
It weighs approx 2.3kg, has a 15 metre cable, the rod extends from 1.7 to 2.5 metres and it is more than capable of picking 80-100kg/hour of fully laden trees. This picker is another big leap forward in olive picking technology.
